Perhaps he's just cold. Can't be much fun stuck out in the garden all the time.
Mind you he seems to be doing well on it. He's well over 6' now. 
I'm sure he doesn't mind you feeling him. As long as you remember I have first dibs on his conkers.

Now I see a jigsaw piece under the sofa.Drat! I wonder which box it comes from?Oh and which game do all the counters belong to?In fact it looks like every game has been dragged out and put in any old way.
OH NO! More jigsaw pieces under the pinball machine.
It's going to take ages to sort it out.
