And Gosho, sorry to go back one step, but I already changed the SubHeaders to Headers at the request of Mr Jimster. So I'm not changing it any more.

A problem with The Guide, and also one of its great strengths.

Don't ask me why though, I just said it to appear deep and meaningful smiley - erm

Hi... I've just read this thread only... I'll be off to read the entry in a minute. I just wanted to say the following:

You're not alone. Many of my Entries also usually get quite dusty while languishing in PR. (I must admit most of the stuff I write is about science and quite dry - I once tried to write scientific stuff in a less scientific way, and all I got was comments from other science weirdos that I couldn't write it like that, because this is not like this, ta da da...) In the beginning I went smiley - erm because of that. After a while (mid 2000 methinks) a bunch of 'science smiley - geeks' formed in h2g2, which normally read the scientific stuff I write. It's normally the usual bunch of researchers. Then there are the 'spellcheckers' - I think they look at the threads and see that it was written by me and they then probably know it's an Entry infested with typos and poor grammar... You know when they have nothing else to say. Anyhow. That's sad but true - sometimes Entries spend more time than they deserve in PR. Sometimes Entries get two comments and are recommended.

Okay enough I'll go and read it...

HELL

Some of us Scouts are here, and this one thinks it's a fine entry! smiley - ok

As you're keeping the table of tariffs, I'd suggest adding a footnote to explain to us non-Botswana folks what the P stands for. I've just looked it up, and found out that the local currency is the pula, which was worth US $4.6168 (or about £3.10) in January 2000. But if Yahoo! Reference is to be believed, the pula almost doubled in value during the second half of the 1990s. Has it now stabilised in value, and are those exchange rates still roughly correct?

Yes, the Tariffs thing again. I think I might need to lift this out in its entirity and have an entry entitled Tarriffs for Entry to Botswana's National Parks and Game Reserves.

You see, when I've (maybe) completed similar entries on Magkadikgadi, Chobe, Kgalakgadi, Khutse, etc. you don't want to be repeating the info at the botom of every entry.

Thus, if all these Entries link to one Entry on Tariffs, only one entry will need periodic updating. Yes?

Regarding Exchange Rates. You could say that the Pula has for a long time been stable a P1 = ZAR1.33 or thereabouts, as they are pegged. In that way, it is the wild fluctuations of the US$ and pound which doubled in value during the 1990s which causes any perecived discrepancy. It depends on perspective and I am mindful of trying NOT to regard this as an Entry solely intended for northern hemisphere eco-tourists. If such a thing exists.

Mont.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Hello Mrs or Mr SubEditor.

Near the beginning the first coordinate should have an S (for South) in front of it. Seems I missed it off.
