It has re-appeared out of the mist.
So over the weekend I'll be adding entries in prep for this coming Thursday's Post.

Looks good so far, jaydubya,
I'm glad you liked the Crouching Dentist piece enough for another run. It's fun, ain't it?
so, back in that hot-seat, eh.
you know you like it!
As you saw, I'm on the go for another one soon, so Don't Panic!

I admit it! I ventured that 'lookin' good' without *actually* reading the Great Escape.
I like.
TGE is one of my favourite films and this is a hilarious piss-take.
I like.
Got any more like that up your sleeve?

Bossel is the great scout. I've added three of his latest with a few choice words of my own and hope this now is a ready-to-go issue. Any corrections, comments etc gratefully acknowledged until late Tues nite early Wed morn.

cheers to all
I don't know where best to post it, but here's the 'Bossel' AGG/GAG issue A822953 ~j~ you mentioned that the 'discuss' link needed to be updated but er, well, where is it and where should it point?

Yo Bossel!
It looks pretty good. I haven't checked out the links yet but the layout and editorial are fine. You bring a new level of sense and sensibility to our image.
It's the 'Feedback Required' paragraph, which links to the old 'Calling All Aggists; Your Attention Please' conversation that should be replaced. That conversation had gotten off track as usual and become a general discussion by all the usual suspects.
So take a look at 38, the current one in the post, for a replacement paragraph with a link to DISCUSS in a new AggGag's 'future' thread.
If not, fear not, I can do it.
(to self) I really want to that first paragraph anyway...
(to Bossel) Oh, and thanks for adding Dragonlady!
I'll keep my eye out to see how you get on, but I can make any last minute tucks and rolls on Tuesday before we send it to .
Any sign of Spiff and the next one?

Yep, the links all work and the selection is quite good. I enjoyed them all. About the theatre which I recognise as very true and approrpiate; about toddlers of which I know nothing but laughed at the lists; and about Baroque Music (a piece I gave a good review nearly 3 years ago as you know) I have finally realised you weren't the author of that one - how did I ever get that wrong...?
Should we add the Dragonlady's Broken Dog piece to this issue? Not knowing what Spiff has together for the next one makes it hard to decide if we need to save hers for next week.

sorry, it's a tad late here, so i won't say much, except to say that I don't have anything to point at and say 'ug' but i probably could by end of tomorrow.
I haven't had the pleasure of making the sinister sounding new contributor you mention, but if they were 'champing at the bit', as it were, then 'place aux autres'.

Ok, that paragraph is centered and the 'discuss' link has changed
I'd say that dragonlady's piece should be kept for the big '42' grande finale majestoso furioso fortissimo, F-major with organ, timpani, garden gnome choir and big band

Bossel's all set for #39 running this week
Spiff is trying to get a start on one for next week #40
We save Dragonlady's Broken Dog for #42.
Done !

Good idea. Then I'll restore it when I notify tomorrow nite.
Once they have a copy, I'll hide it again.

Ok, it's "gone now"
This took me a full two hours just because AOL threw me out and didn't let me in again

~ jwf ~ scribblo ergo sum Posted Sep 9, 2002
Sorry for your trouble.
Probably should have just gone ahead and hidden it when you first thought of it. We can always log on as AGGGAG and restore it when necessary. Your finished product is still the same AGGGAG A-number that Spiff started on the AggGag space right?
peace

er... not quite, I'm afraid. I can't have the editing rights on Spiff's entry, can I? Mine is at A822953

Oh ho-ho what a wangled weave we web...
I guess the one Spiff started for you is still showing on the AggGag page as A817931. I better log on and delete that one. It is an AggGag-edit thing I hope. That's the one I thought you had picked up on. I thought you had found it there and finished it as AggGag. And of course I was gonna uncancel it and deliver it to as AggGag.
So..A822953 is actually on your space, but now hidden.
OK. You can deliver it to tommorow nite or Wed morn,
but do me one little favour first. Lose the 'periods' or 'full stops', y'know the "." dot things at the end of each subheader line.
They come out as 'red' dots in subheaders and they look weird to me. And it ain't like subheaders are real sentences requiring full stops.
Or if you want to just put it all behind you, 'uncancel' it now (or tomorrow when you have time) and I will copy and paste it to an AggGag entry for final delivery.
peace

I'll go the first way The periods are gone now and I've deleted it again for later revival. It's Greebs now in charge right? Or has Shazz recovered yet?
