Entry: Coursework Squiffy - A80326
Author: Dave 43086 - U43086
If you read this very carefully, you'll discover that the author was brought up by seals.
That would explain it, then.

I wonder how long it took to write this. It seems to have been a work in progress for quite some time, or the author injested a copious amount of LSD and wrote it in a few hours. Strange.

The narcotically-induced possibility is intriguing. Not exactly Kubla Khan, though, is it? LSD I wouldn't know about. Speed, perhaps?
I wondered whether it might be cut-and-paste, sort of Schwitters-lit. The contrast with, say, Funderlik is fascinating too. The good Doctor's stuff is deep-down coherent, it's only the phrasing that's tangential. This stuff is just bundled-up nonsense, and yet like you suggest, it's an apparent investment of some time and effort. I wonder why...
You any idea how to tell whether stuff's been AGG/GAG/CAC'd quickly? There's stuff I keep finding and noting down that might interest those guys. But I'm loathe to post it here, 'cos it just sloshes round the Miners' ankles.
And it's not as if anybody other than those two groups dips into the AWW...

I can't remember off hand where the AGG/GAG/CAC archives are at, but another way to find out is to post here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F1718265?thread=374322&latest=1 and ask. As far as I know that's where most of the CACC discussion takes place (or not as the topic tends to drift). I'm not too sure that it matters if an entry has been featured before. Most of the entries that I've promoted that way have been either in <./>ThePost or AGG/GAG/CAC at some point in time, not to mention the UG overlaped. It definately seems to be hallucinigenic induced, whether by amphetamine psychosis or the more familiar (culturally) induced schizophrenia I can't tell. It could even be an articulated and sober attempt at deconstructing the language in an effort to break through preconcieved notions and deliver a much more subtle message. Sort of a trance attempt using the written word. Very interesting no matter the motives behind it.

I should clarify that by (culturally) in my last post I'm refering to the well known and documented effects of lysergic acid by Dr. Timothy Leary et al, as opposed to the more recent emergance of amphetamine usage and abuse in the social conscience here in the 'States.
I have way too much time on my hands.

I do not know what to say about this piece. Except that I note the author was indeed brought up by seals.
And that it takes a certain skill to write like that. So much, like that.
And that I like it. I can't not like something that has the line "Very slowly, put down that eel and fraternize with the pond."
As for being under an influence - work pressure and caffeine would fit the title.
Pin, I've not come across a quick way to tell if something's been AGG/GAGed in the past. There is an AGG/GAG archive and there's often a conversation attached to the entry but both entail searching. As does looking for anything in the CACC archive which only lists the CACC issues and not the entries used in them.
There's no harm in something being featured twice, mind.

I tried to read this after a grievous morning and now my head hurts.
Is stream of consciousness a valid form of expression? Discuss, in no more than two thousand words and with reference to the works of... Hunter S Thompson?
On the whole, I can't help thinking this would be better cut into chunks and pasted onto a wall of a modern art gallery.
I liked the last comment on the entry though.

No, stream of conciousness is not a valid form of communication. William Faulkner was an illiterate redneck.
I've discovered another answer for this mystery. Junk email. Some emails use randomly generated sentences to aviod certain filters, these random generated sentances read in much the same way as this entry.
