Not bad for a 'short' entry
<> do you mean "£2 or 100 eels" (for those with no money so had to barter)?
Thanks for the interesting read, Tufty

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Jan 20, 2011
I like short entrys (as I have the attention span of a, oh, that's a nice pair of shoes).
After reading it the one question I was left with is, is it all free? Maybe not a good idea to put any actual* prices (if there are charges, as they'll quickly be out of date), but It was just the first thing I thought of (I know I'm such a miser really),
Didn't sport any typos or gramatical things with it

It is indeed £2 and 100 eels - which denomination is greater, I'm not sure.
It is indeed free to do most things, though fishing and water sports will obviously cost something.

Hi Tufty!
this looks good in the new barlesque H2G2.
I was born with no sense of direction or geographical awareness, so I have no idea where this park is situated. Maybe some clearer pointers, directions or nearest towns ( ie how far by bus and where from?) It would certainly help the navigationally challenged members such as me - cheers!

Good to see you throwing tasty snacks into PR again Tufty
I've nothing to add really, despite being reasonably familiar with the park - my Hash club runs there from time to time.
Just one thing that jarred - Could you rephrase that please - < In addition to this...>?

Thanks, I've made those changes.

I've noticed the SCOUT PICK button is available when this entry has only been in PR for 3 days. I'm going to try to pick it, just to test what happens.
Eds - if this goes through, please could you reject this pick.

It failed with a non-specific error message:
An error occurred
Sorry, there has been a problem
This should be clearer, as this may have occurred for any reason. I'll report this to Feedback.
As you were...

Hi Alex
I know this is trying to be a short entry - but I thought it could do with a bit more information. I would have liked to know more about the wildlife that can be seen in the park. You mention birdwatching, do you know what sorts of birds might be seen? Are there any events..

AlexAshman Posted Jan 24, 2011
My experience was mostly of seeing the aforementioned diving ducks and swans. I've added a mention of the park's own list of birds, and I haven't heard of anything event-wise other than the guided walks.

I've come across a second hide at the park, so I've added a mention here. Before anyone mentions, I'm not sure where its name comes from.

Great work on this Entry. Looks ready to be accepted for approval, so we'll do the necessary.
And thanks Icy, but we have the SCOUT PICK error bug on our list to fix. Cheers all.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Hiya Tufty

I'm not familiar with the tag, is that something to do with the new skin?
Fishing – the central lake is connected to the River Great Ouse and has a number of swims easily accessible from the surrounding path. I know zilch about fishing and fishing terms so could you confirm that "swims" is the correct term there please?
