Very good article! Personally, I think music is very much OK - and I have been known take a 
G&T ... *sigh* Pure bliss!
As to your attitude towards TV: 
, I absolutely agree. Not compatible at all.
But given then, that there are British people who knows how to take a bath - why hasn't this level of knowledge spread to showers? Very frequently I find showers in the UK absolutely fixed to the wall at a height equivalent to my chin or lower. How do you wash your hair under those circumstances (apart from "with great difficulty")?
OK, off topic - I know... 
I'd like to see this published for the world to see how to bathe - and I'd like a bathtub in my house
