some people see the glass half full.
some people see the glass half empty
but I think it is more important there is something in the glass,
because you something to drink.
many small drinks makes some one less thursty
some one who is less thursty thinks clearer
some one who is clearer thinks more positive
some one who is more positive thinks floating thru blue sky
some one who is floating thru blue sky thinks of vacantioning on the beach
some one who is vacationing on the beach thinks of freedom
I hope get chain of thoughts

Of course I do. The only possible reason for me not being blindly happy about everyone and everything MUST be that I like being miserable. How could I not see it myself?

Sadly, you never seem to see *any* time for pessimism. The world could end, and you'd be sitting there grinning, proclaiming how wonderful it was that the global warming problem is going to become irrelevant soon. *rolls eyes*

If we temporarily agree upon accepting the fact that there are only two kinds of people in the world, and they can be identified by how they see the contents of the glass, I would make it to this conclusion:
Those who see the glass as half empty are generally more open to change, as they know that when the other half is gone there may or may not be opportunites to refill it, sneak it into your pocket and take it home or sit around fidgeting with it in the hope that someone will buy you a new glass with contents in it.
Whereas those who view the glass as half full are clinging to the glory days of past, and are not at all comfortable with the fact that things do infact change. They long for the time when the glass was full, and not in this sorry half-full state it is in at the time of question. They well then fall into series of thought like "What is the reason for filling a glass when the contents will disappear eventually"
In conclusion:
Half empty = Opportunists
Half full = Cynics
