Not bad Unc
There are a few first person references which will have to be amended, and I think it might benefit from a short concluding paragraph - I felt that it ended rather precipitously.
"...timing is imperative." "Timing is crucial" might read better IMHO.
What do others think?

Hi, Uncle Heavy!
Have you seen the entry that is already in Peer Review
Music Festivals: A Survival Guide A808094 ?
There seems to be rather a lot of overlap with your entry. It's odd - I think you had asked on Ask h2g2 about festivals before the other entry went in. I don't think I've ever seen two entries on the same topic in Peer Review at the same time!

And now that I think about it, you'd definitely said first on ask h2g2 that you were writing about music festivals (I remember because my own idea about music festivals was a little too highbrow !)
When I saw the other entry, I thought 'Oh, he must have changed his name' ... and never got around to reviewing it.

OK, I've taken the salient bits out of here, added them to the other article and given UH a co-credit. Be grateful you've got a patient Sub-editor on your side. Oh, and take this out of PR.

That's the last time I casually think: "Hey I'll write a bit of an article about that."
I'm still relativly new to this lark and I'm sorry if that article stepped on your toes, but I was unware that you had written on this subject previously.
As for "friendshipism" I don't know what you're implying there.
Your article is very nice, by the way.

Right, you can all stop whinging about it now - it's gone back to the Editors (hopefully never to return).
Bejesus, what a terrible selection for your first Sub-editing!
