STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Every town has their best pizza place. The larger cities usually have a few places that dish out the superior pie. Still, places like New York, Boston and Chicago have a legion of pizza palaces battling for supremacy. Below you may find Chicago's story.
The Pizza and its Style
Some will maintain that there is pizza and there are other things, but that pizza can only be made in one fashion. Here in Chicago there are three kinds of pie:
- Thin Crust
- Thick crust or pan pizza
- Stuffed Pizza
Thin crust is the pizza most people claim to know. The mass produced, national chain pizzas can best be described as thin crust or thin pan pizza. Doughy, about 1-2 cm in thickness with a crust that rolls over at the edges.
