Hi MMF
This is your Uni Project and, as far as I am aware, it should be the Sub-Editor who checks your Entries and then puts them into PR for others (usually other sub-editors) to glance over them.
Have you contacted the h2g2 Editors to request a sub-ed?

No, but then I'm uncertain how to do so. Advice please.
And should I remove them?
MMF
*Btw, how are you? *

Ordinarily I would advise removing them from PR, but I'm not certain if this would allow them back to the University Pages.
Contact the Eds on: h2g2Editorial (AT) bbc (DOT) co (DOT) uk
Hopefully a Sub-Ed will be able to advise you further

Lil, e-mail sent and thanks for the advise.
And I'm recovering well, with just slight twinges behind the left knee and swollen ankles.
Have to see what happens...
Stay warm.

You can look at A540299 for more info on University projects. I've done a few myself so will be happy to help if you've any questions, but the first step is getting a sub ed.

Thanks BB.
Question. Well, two actually.
Who is, or how do I obtain, a Project Co-ordinator?
How do I enlist a Sub-Ed, as this wasn't set up as a 'proper' Uni Project?
in anticipation.

If you are the only person doing this Project, then you count as the Project co-ordinator so you don't need to find one as it is a Solo Project.
In the past to get a sub-editor I've left messages on the Sub Editor's home page at A395697 but you might try the e-mailing approach too that was suggested above as I've always had to wait quite a while for a response.
You will also need a Project Page which is basically an index section of what you've done so far. One of mine can be found here as a guide: A72220420
Hope this helps!

You certainly shouldn't put University Project pages into Peer Review. Please remove them.
You need to:
1. Find a sub-editor.
2. Create a Project Page, which has links to all the entries.
3. Get the Eds to give the sub-editor control of your entries.
4. Get the sub-editor to sub-edit all the entries.
5. At that stage you or the sub-editor should submit the Project Page only to Peer Review, and the reviewers review all the entries together, replying in the one conversation.

Did all that, Gnomon, as Lil suggested, and sent the e-mail, but didn't hear anything back.
But I will remove them, and see what happens.
They've been a while in coming to fruition, so a few more months or so won't hurt, I guess.

This one is still in Peer Review, and it shouldn't be. University Projects don't get peer reviewed until the Sub-editor is finished with them.

Fiddler, I've had a quick look at a two of these, and they seem reasonably well-written, so I'll undertake to be your sub-editor. But I can't start on it until I've finished Bluebottle's Asterix project which will be another two weeks.

Unfortunately MMF will now have to create new A-pages for each article to replace the ones submitted to PR, as they can't go on the FP as "edited".

I guess we weren't clear enough here:
F19585?thread=7948156
Maybe the eds can remove the PR threads once this is all sorted?
MMF will need to remove them all from PR first, though, and he still needs to create a project page.

Submitting them for review does something to them and the Eds can't use them for the Edited guide. It's happened before, I remember Mina explaining it to me when I reused an old article which had gone through PR. I don't think the problem has been fixed.
MMF you need to withdraw all your Kew articles from PR and create new A-pages for them, copy & paste the code into brand new articles. Then create a "Project Page" stating what your project is, and link to all the A-numbers on that, citing Gnomon as sub-ed. Send *that* Project Page A-number as a link to the Eds, and they will assign all the Kew Tree articles to Gnomon who can then sub them and submit the Project Page to PR. The Kew articles themselves must remain "virgin" as they will be made live, this doesn't happen with articles which go through PR the usual way, as a new recommended article is made by the Eds when they accept a Scout pick.
Hope that's clear

Oh, I didn't know there was a technical problem with that.
If they have to be done anew anyway, I guess the easiest was would be if Gnomon, who has volunteered to be the sub-ed, created the entries instead of MMF doing it again, for Gnomon then having to ask to get editing rights? That would seem a more direct way to me.

Thanks folks. They've been fully removed from PR as requested.
I'll now see if I can find the UP link to get it re-entered, and special Thanks to Gnomon for volunteering to take it on. Just hope I get the links right. I also have photos of the respective trees except one, rather than have generics if required...
Thanks again everyone.
