Some pro-Robin bias, huh?
*Considers not entering this week, so he can end up with a mythical 42 points...*

Actually, with 30 points available, I could 'conceivably' win, but it's not terribly likely.

I should have said "those who have a reasonable chance opf winning. And Robin did request a Kingz game whwn everyone was saying which team they'd like to see.

As promised in a previous weeks, all my first scorers this week shall have silly names.
Cowdenbeath 0-2 Berwick Rangers (Burke)
Everton 1-0 Blackburn Rovers (Rooney)
Welshpool Town 1-1 Llanelli (D'Auria) - ex Scunthorpe player
Ajax 2-3 PSV (Vaart)
Juventus 1-1 Lazio (Oddo)
South Melbourne 0-1 Auckland Football Kingz (Almendra)
My word - is that South Melbourne page the slowest-loading website ever, or what?

Well, it's only fair. I understand they're on a roll, and you did all predict Scunthorpe to beat Hull.

Aye. 'Tis indeed David D'Auria. He comes from Llanelli, so presumably that's what he's doing playing there, when he is capable of a far higher standard of football.

Did he ever play for Hull, or am I thinking of Duane D'Arby?

Mu Beta Posted Dec 13, 2002
Nah - that was the Cat's alter-ego in Red Dwarf, wasn't it?
I believe Mr. D'Auria, like most ex-Iron players (those that don't go to Gillingham, leastways), rather annoyingly played for Hull, yes.

It's jsut that if he's a midfielder left or centre I think I once signed him on Champ Manager...

Damn foolish move - he's crap on CM3.
I'm managing Motherwell at the minute. Stephen Pearson in a big creative role in midfield. Currently valued at 18 million!

I signbed most of my stars on loan from Coventry for christ's sakes.

Mu Beta Posted Dec 13, 2002
Motherwell was the sort of team where you could only get decent players by signing old stars. One season, I had Desailly, Bergkamp, Zidane, Djaminha and Lizerazu all playing for me, but they all retired simultaneously, depleting the squad somewhat.
