I really needed a good laugh today, and you have provided it. Many thanks.
when I moved four years ago we fortutitously had no access to such a store. The nearest one opened a couple of years later, so I did not have the pleasure of furnishing my flat that way.

I was dragged to the store by a friend a couple of years ago, and (sob, sob) was only able to buy those little bits and pieces that are essential to a happy home. £200 later i escaped intact.

By the way, the DIY store flatpacks are nearly as much fun. I bought some kitchen units, but luckily possess a pedantic Kevin-the-teenager who took complete charge and, apart from cursing me (loudly and regularly) actually built the things successfully. Bless him.

thank you, thank you

Hi, Sideways, and thanks for the praise smiley - blush

Would have got back to you sooner but your post didn't pop up on my 'latest' conversations thingy and I have only just seen it. Don't worry about being told you are useless on the computer, I am a respected IT manager at work but my 12 year old daughter is always showing me how to do things and tutting at my apparent complete inability to get anything right - lol.

KTT sounds like fun, I will have my own version in a few years from now. Can't wait smiley - smiley

The first thing you should do when you get such scandinavean self-assembly furniture unpacked is to get out a power drill and redrill all the holes to a decent size.

I made a Futon and almost had to go to hospital, having disabled my 'screwing' arm trying to tap the large diameter screws into what might as well have been woodworm holes.

In case you are interested.
