yes, Less than Jake is best played loud, but then again most punk is.
The Ataris are very good loud, or in fact quiet....they're just ace!

The best punk band in the workd is probably NoFx.
They are actually punk, not pop punk, Hardcore, funny.
And they cant write really good, high tempo songs.
Check the out, and guttermouth

*tries to catch up with backlog after being away for a week*
Yes, Ozma are on Kung Fu. I can't decide whever or not I like them, I really like "Apple Trees", but not sure about the others. I bought the new Kung Fu sampler the other day, that's got a couple of good songs on them.
Also check out mi6, they are kinda like Blink 182, but without the annoying squeeky voice...
Lagwagon are cool, just that I can't find any albums to buy. That's the problem with liking American bands who aren't all that popular over here, even the biggest cd shops (hmv, virgin, tower) all have very small ranges of stuff. I can't find any Aquabats stuff ANYWHERE, or Audio Karate...

Since when did Blink-182 inherit a squeaky voice? One voice may be childish, but not squeaky...the clearest example is probably track 17 of the US version of Take off your pants and jacket. The track title is too obscene to discuss here, but with the lack of instrumental in the song, it is easy to hear that Blink just sounds childish, but not squeaky...

I was addicted to that track a few months ago. I think it is just about the only Blink track that does not contain innuendo or profanity...
