I like the beginning of that. I always like hearing about the Night Watch and the Assassins' Guild. I'd join if I were to magically transport to the Discworld. What would you do?

That doesn't surprise me.

It's cool to be an assassin, pardon, Assassin, because you can do flips and stuff and are much less likely to get mugged walking through AM's streets. And, if you'll excuse the expression, you can make an absolute killing.

A real inhuming doesn't have the same.... smiley - starbing!smiley - star If you know what I mean.

This is true, but what's that quote out of Guards! Guards!? "Sooner juggle torches in a tar pit than get involved with real magic". Whereas a knife, well, step number one is: hold it by the non- pointy end.

Better to get involved with others than things from the Dungeon Dimensions, I say.

Besides, to become an Assassin, you don't actually have to /inhume/ anyone. Teppic never does. I'm fairly sure Chidder only did a few.

Ah yes but he would have failed if it wasn't an acident.

anyway you only have to face your fear with the DD, you have to face your life with the assassins
