Until you know...
I hate to say it but while I was out on the ship I picked up smoking, I couldnt drink and so that was the only place I could get away from the drama and insanity that is a Naval Vessle. Now I am trying to quit, but while I was gone my wife started smoking, and the bad thing is that we are each other's enablers, if I was going to go do something crazy she would want to go do it with me (such as spend an extream ammount of money that we couldnt afford etc.) Oh so hard.... :0

Well it was just that some guys would pull me out of the shop (I was getting really stressed) and they would take me to the smoke pit, so I started smoking cigars and stuff then I just came home and it is sorta hard to quit now, it helps keep me from falling asleep at work and on the drive home, plus if I am especially stressed it seems to help relax me and clear my head, since we only get REALLY short breaks and I work 10+ hours a day... It sucks but I am trying to only smoke once a day on the drive home. I have problems with falling asleep on the road (I didnt smoke at all today and I caught myself drifting into the sholder on the road. I really dont want to but I would rather smoke than crash my car if you know what I mean...

Have you tried Red Bull (or some other strange beverage of that sort) to keep you awake on the road? Chewing gum is the other thing that used to help keep me alert while driving too, I used to spend the weekend at my boyfriends then drive back from Telford to Cambridge (~135 miles) either at 2 in the morning or to get back in time for work! I was younger then of course

I have tried everything short of cutting my skin to keep me awake 
Actually I tried taking a nap in leu of lunh and that seems to have helped (I could stand to miss a meal for this little gut) and exurcising works pretty good too... hmm...
