Zarquon's Singing Fish!

I've not heard the album, however the review is lovely.

I'm amazed that no-one's commented. My excuse is that I haven't seen it before now.

Thanks, folks! I feel there is a place in the guide for simple entries like this as well as the usual long and detailed ones I do.

Always brings a tear to my eye smiley - cry Good article though smiley - smiley I've never noticed the line(s) that Freddie sings half and someone else finishes...

You could add that 'Winter's Tale' was the last song that Freddie ever wrote, or that the band were so keen to record as many songs as possible before Freddie died that, rather than spend time writing all new songs, they covered older songs - for example, 'Too Much Love' is from Brian May's solo album 'Back to the Light', and 'Heaven for Everyone' is from 'Shove It' by Roger Taylor's band 'The Cross'.

Still, as you say, keeping it short and sweet is certainly appropriate for this entry smiley - ok

Thanks for that, Danny. I've added a short note about the cover versions.

I probably ought to clarify that Freddie sang the original of 'Heaven For Everyone' as an uncredited guest on 'Shove It', but I think you're right - he does make the song entirely his own on 'Made in Heaven'. Same for 'Too Much Love'... I was unsure when I first heard Freddie's version, but I think it is the definitive recording of the song.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Would it also be possible to add that 'I was Born to Love You' was originally one of Freddie's own solo works from the 80's? I'm not sure if the version on the album is a rerecording or not though. The same may go for 'You don't fool me' but I'm not sure about that.

This entry should probably make the edited edition.

smiley - cheers

Thanks, folks! I'm delighted that my entry has been picked. I'm just back from a week in sunny Scotland, hence the lateness of this reply.
