A Conversation for Technical Support
'Support'

Remember that in the dictionary, to support is also to hold up...
In my company, anyone with any brains is taken off the no-helpdesk to work on
something more interesting, and consequently is unavailable for comment. As most
of them tend not to be natural programmers, the number of calls to the nohelpdesk
increase sevenfold...
In a dilbert cartoon some time back, the following conversation occurred:
PHB: "Our telephone support phones got accidentally redirected to a adult chatline"
...'Complaints are way down"
{Cut to scene of user on telephone}
User: "Has that ever worked?"
Female voice "No complaints so far.."
Try that. It'll be just as useful as the real nohelpline, but far more fun
Key: Complain about this post
