Oh dear, last summer was not a good time in the AWW, here is another one which no-one noticed. 
Sir Panther has not posted since Jan 4, 2003, and for that reason, and because it is incomplete fiction, and it is also the text on his U-Space, I vote this thread goes back to the entry.
I am biased against fiction, so I have no worries about being over-ruled on this one.
Spook, would you like it for the SOG?

"I am biased against fiction" is the wrong phrase - "I have a blind-spot about fiction" is more accurate.

Its just as well I'm here as a counter balance then isn't it? 
I agree completely Ben. It seemed to read more like an encyclopedia, which may have been deliberate, given his obvious interest in the story on which this web site is based. It is definately more of a tribute to THHGTTG. Not that that is a bad thing.
I would like to speak to the author though and get their thoughts...

Certainly is! I think that the promoting of fiction is a really good idea, unfortunately I just don't "get it", so I am really glad when there are folks around who do. 
Give me a piece of poetry, on the other hand, and I seem to be the only person making detailed comments. 
It is good that we can all play to our strengths, and ride shotgun for each others' weaknesses.
