Noggin- Dead on! Mr. Bush will do whatever he pleases, the UN and the world be damned! Bush is determined to inflict his ideologies upon the rest of the Global Village. The United States of America is NOT the centre of the Universe. Although Bush thinks differently.

I too am an "old Hippy" the latest developements of speaches between Tony Blair and George Bush are interesting. I was fishing last night and a friend asked what the priv=ce of gas was down the highway. My reply was " The price of gas this past week has fluctuated everytime Blair or Bush opens their mouth. The American government will do what ever it seemsk RIGHT. defying world opinion. They are just going through the motions in order to appear as though they are going through acceptable channels. Bush really doesn't care what the rest of the planet thinks. He'll do whatever he wants- the Devil be damned! Unfortunately, in this case, he is the co- devil. He and Blair emphasize that Iraq should completely disarm itself of "weapons of mass distruction" but they won't do the same. Don't get me wrong, Hussein is INSANE, however, perhaps UN inspectors should also raid the Labs and Military sites of the US and Britain. But of course, dthese sites are sanctioned as "Acceptable". As a Canadian, I hope that my Government will continue to stand up to our neighbours to the South and protest a "pre-emptive Strike." If the world's major Countries don't stand up to American Bullying tactics, we might as well "Kiss ourr Asses Goodbye!"

Well, America has brought in a special law demanding that any unannounced inspection can be blocked by order of the President.
And they've hassled the organistations for control of bio and chem weapons in various ways.
'You cant inspect us, you'll have to trust us. Whilst this guy on the other side of the world, the bit we dont like, we want to bomb him for doing what we do.'

Apparition™ (Mourning Empty the best uncle anyone could wish for) Posted Sep 30, 2002
This email was sent to me while I was away by someone who thought it was funny
"The Saudi Ambassador to the U.N. has just finished giving a speech, and walks out into the lobby where he meets his American counterpart. They shake hands and as they walk the Saudi says, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America."
The American says "Well your Excellency, anything I can do to help you I will do."
The Saudi whispers, "My son watches this show 'Star Trek,' and in it there are Russians and Blacks and Asians, but never any Arabs. He is very upset. He doesn't understand why there are never any Arabs in Star Trek."
The American laughs and leans over. "That's because it takes place in the future."
Does anyone remember the joke going around while over 3000 afghanie civilians were being killed. The bloodlust of it all.

td says in response to a sick joke:
>Perhaps they should revise " Trek", and have no americans in it<
your response to the joke about the extintion of arabs is it would be better that americans become extinct. Sad so very sad.

You left out a word 'sick *american* joke'. Most American anti-arab jokes I've seen should not be repeated.
