Until you find Mr Right you are always going to believe that they are all gits but even when you do find him, the one, man of your dreams, I bet he still manages to upset you sometimes.

I’ve had mine for 9 years and although we are committed to eachother and are very close he just can’t help being a bastard every once in a while. I’m sure he can’t help it, it’s just the way he was made ... i.e. a man!!!

Therefore I agree - ALL MEN ARE BASTARDS - but would they be any fun if they weren't?.

On the other hand, posting a request for dates to h2g2 is a great way of getting healthy, well adjusted, males. NOT! They'r all mad, MAD I tell you! Bwahahahaha....

I just read your article and I feel sorry for you. I think of myself as "a nice guy", and can frankly don't understand how other "men" can behave in that manner...

Anyways, I wanted to comment on the word "love".

In my world the world love is a strong word, something you say to a person you love very deaply. Not to someone you fall in love with... The basic problem with the word love is that it representate so many things; Love between lovers, the love parents feel for their children and so on.

I live in sweden, and here the sentance "Jag älskar dig" ("I love you") is not to be taken lightly. You don't just meet someone at the pub one night and tell that person that, well atleast not very often. I think that in the english spoken world the word suffers from the same curse that swear-words have, use them to often and the word looses it's power, it's magic. In some cases less _are_ more...

Maybe just to point out that love is not equal to lust...
Or is it just my own insecurity acting up. I am very much in love with someone, but do I realy love her, I'm not sure...
