Would this mean that Groups Pages could be made into Edited Entries?

For example - Musicians' Guild, Christian, Vegetarian and various geographical groups.
Or is that a waste of time?
Will there ever be a status for such pages?

Hi Trillian's Child,
I hadn't forseen that - I thought we'd just be updating Edited Entries. I suppose if you'd like to take over one of the Groups pages, as the original Editor is long gone, it would be worth contacting Abi and asking her.

I don't generally think it would be a good idea.
If the group is active, then the page should be updated fairly regularly. That doesn't really look like a candidate for the edited guide.
however, there is nothing to stop there being pages in the edited guide that effectively catagorise the groups, making it easier to find groups you don't already know about.

We've already got that in the post list of clubs and associations...

Hi Everyone,
Sorry I've let this discussion slip over a number of weeks. I've now read all discussions here relating to the proposed updating scheme and I've responded in the forums of entry A760402 (an excellent entry summarising the themes raised here, put together by Frankie Roberto). It would be great to see you there and hear your thoughts on the next proposal.
Thanks
Anna
