What did I want to do when I grew up

Hmm! when I was a child I suppose I just wanted to be a person who did good things for other people perhaps live the fairytale world of livin Richly, Happily ever after. When I reached seventeen I just wanted to be a free-minded Hippy, takeing each day as it came. Then I studied Photography, I was hooked! I wanted to become a Camera Woman for TV or Film, the only catch was, At the time there was only one full time employed Camera Woman in North America!-bear in mind this was 1970 so my assprations were shattered. I weighed a mere 93 pounds at the time. Far too small to carry the equiptment. So I went to University, studied Drama-in my familie's footsteps and became not an actor - I have stage fright- but a Proffessional Costumer. I truly found my belonging in life's scheme. I did that for many years, travelling all over the country from one theatre season to another. Now I have a true passion, I'm a Quilt artist. I still work with fabric, I still express myself in offbeat ways and occassionaly, I get paid for it. I would still like to have a great deal more money but at least I have two siblings out of five who can relate to me because they too are in the arts! Hell my mother's side of the family are all in the arts and two of them have the Order of Canada. One is dead but the other is just as broke as I am!
