There aren't many people that wouldn't like to do something that they really enjoy doing - and get paid for it. That dream job must be out there, somewhere. It's possible to turn a hobby into a living, but it takes a lot of hard work, and doesn't happen very often.
There are often people in our lives that we care a great deal for who become huge influences on our life-path. We might want to be just like them, or to be the complete opposite. Some people just want to be famous, and if they can't make it as an actor or a pop star, then they will take any other chance offered to them.
When we are children, we often think about what we want to do when we are an adult. Now is your chance to share your childhood dreams with the Community. Tell us what you wanted to be when you grew up?
What did you want to be when you grew up? A lion tamer? Rock star? Actor? Space man? Vet? Nurse, teacher, farmer...
Were you prepared to do anything to become what you dreamt of? Are you still working towards that ultimate dream job?
Do you have no idea what you want to do in the future? Do you still dream of what might have been?
Did your ambitions change as your life changed? Did you want to be a clown but then decided a career in banking would be better? Did you study to be a scientist but end up playing in a band?
Did your parents encourage you to go out and achieve your goals? Have you turned your dreams into reality through your own hard work?
Did lack of money thwart your dream of becoming a top lawyer, sportsman or musician?
Do only little boys want to be fireman or train drivers? Are jobs really that gender-specific?
What job do you currently do? Is it close to your childhood dreams?
