A Conversation for Talking Point: What did you want to be when you grew up?
A Bit Unorthodox.

When I was young, my parents didn't tell me alot of things. Namely, that you couldn't be other animals. I had this amazing desire to be a dinosaur. I thought it would be the coolest thing to be a dinosaur. Imagine all my childhood dreams crushed when my father told me (between stifled laughs) that no, in fact, I could NOT be a Brontosaurus. Of course, I'm better now Currently, however, I desire to be a travelling writer, and I also play electric and vocals for a band that my friends and I came up with.. We're called One Day Later, and I still have the same fervor to my childish fantasies with my band as I did with the whole dinosaur episode. My parents (with a few exceptions)are very supportive, thankfully. I don't think anyone appreciates parents as much as they deserve. My current job is working as a busboy for $6.50 an hour. I also type a bit for the local newspaper...
