I must admit, if the reasoning behind failing the entry was because it's unsuitable for a 'family site', then failing hotwiring cars and allowing entries on apple pipes does seem a little silly. I would have thought it rather easier for a parent to explain hotwiring cars than weed, to enquiring children, or durexs, on which there is an entry, come to that.
Perhaps the editorial team could give us a clear answer, to end any debate?

Hmmm.... I'm really not sure what was said between you and the moderators, but it does seem a little odd.
To be honest, I would support the fact that when this article is complete, it's content would assume NO illegal act whatsoever!!! Where as several articles that are already in the guide, are on SO much more dubious and frankly "NON family" issues!!!
Information on simple electronics is surely NOT something to be moderated!??? And I really can't see justification for this act.
If you have any further info, let us know.

Well... other than e-mailing Abi, Linda, Peta or H2G2 Support and pleading your case... I'm not sure...

Ah... but we do so love to pester you Italics with our meaningless lives...
(I'm still uncertain as to what rule this article broke...)

Again I say, not looking to cause a scene, *but*
If my own article on how to get into your own car without the keys is okay, why isn't this? Yes the entry needs more work. BUT- hotwiring cars- not illegal getting into your own car and starting it, by whatever means, not illegal. Surely H2H2 is not looking to be responsible for everything people could take it upon themselves to do from information on the site?
If the purpose of this guide guide is to be "a guide to life, the universe and everything", then even within the BBC's rules, this is okay.
Sorry itallics, We know it's not really your issue, but those of us that didn't write the entry can't reply to the mods, so we can only put our views to you, the team.
