Kids are useful for moaning at, but they are also excellent moaners in their own right in my experience. They can create complaints out of almost nothing. We can learn a lot from children.

Furthermore, my son has taught me a great deal about the subtle art of sulking, which I've never been particularly good at myself. I'm never going to be a great sulker as I lack the necessary stamina, but I've certainly picked up a few tips over the past few years.smiley - oksmiley - sadface

No, I dont have kids but i do have 2 cats smiley - cat
They can be quite good for throwing tantrums. When one of mine wants attention he throws everything of the windowsill in a strop until i get up and go to him! He is actually on a tricyclic antidepressant - amitriptyline - so i think he (Spiggy smiley - blackcat) would make a great honarary member of pudding! (i know depression isnt anything to be laughed at as i have it myself)
He also sits in front of the fire sulking until i switch it on for him and as for the dirty looks, well you cant beat a cat for those!

smiley - laugh A smiley - cat on antidepressants? Perfect for PUDDING! I am happy to induct Spiggy as PUDDING's second feline member. Perhaps I should set up a special Cantankerous Cats section of the page?

Spiggy smiley - blackcat is very 'unpleased' to be accepted! In fact he barely raised his head when I told him.
Due to the fact that I kept him awake until 6am this morning, as the previous night, everytime i fell asleep he swiped me across the face to wake me up for attention *sigh*. So I thought i would keep him awake and then i would get some peaceful sleep. Of course that backfired cos it meant i stayed up till 6am too. smiley - doh

smiley - erm Now I have a confession to make.......I have just become an A.C.E. so will have to 'meet and greet' the newbies in a happy and friendly manner. smiley - grovel Please dont throw me out of PUDDING. I promise that when i am not on 'official duties' i will remain the total embodiment of the Pudding ideal - grumpy and proud! smiley - sadface
And if you do - well i will throw a strop and sulk big time at the unfairness of it all smiley - grr

Kantankerous Kats - fantastic idea - there will be no end of applicants! smiley - cat

Don't worry, Sir Mort, I do understand. Even I have to smile politely occasionally, but I try to keep it to a minimum. smiley - sadface

Of course, if you come across any suitably surly newbies, you *could* always mention PUDDING to them... smiley - whistle
