Dang, even Mrs Gosho doesn't make tea for me

Actually erm my partner is usually on tea and coffee duty but he has been away since the beginning of december
His words to me yesterday (via net) were 'for Godsake smile woman'
and proud!
But servants would be good. I could do with someone to moan at.

Do you not have kids?..theyre good for moaning at..and can double as pretty ok servants too ! (joking..before someone calls socai services!)

Kids are useful for moaning at, but they are also excellent moaners in their own right in my experience. They can create complaints out of almost nothing. We can learn a lot from children.

Furthermore, my son has taught me a great deal about the subtle art of sulking, which I've never been particularly good at myself. I'm never going to be a great sulker as I lack the necessary stamina, but I've certainly picked up a few tips over the past few years.

Think i gave my boy all the tips he needed on sulking and tantrm throwing!.....i was a very spoilt child!

Yes kids do make great moaners!..but what really make me is when they whinge! there cant be a worse sound on earth!

No, I dont have kids but i do have 2 cats
They can be quite good for throwing tantrums. When one of mine wants attention he throws everything of the windowsill in a strop until i get up and go to him! He is actually on a tricyclic antidepressant - amitriptyline - so i think he (Spiggy ) would make a great honarary member of pudding! (i know depression isnt anything to be laughed at as i have it myself)
He also sits in front of the fire sulking until i switch it on for him and as for the dirty looks, well you cant beat a cat for those!

A on antidepressants? Perfect for PUDDING! I am happy to induct Spiggy as PUDDING's second feline member. Perhaps I should set up a special Cantankerous Cats section of the page?

Spiggy is very 'unpleased' to be accepted! In fact he barely raised his head when I told him.
Due to the fact that I kept him awake until 6am this morning, as the previous night, everytime i fell asleep he swiped me across the face to wake me up for attention *sigh*. So I thought i would keep him awake and then i would get some peaceful sleep. Of course that backfired cos it meant i stayed up till 6am too.

Now I have a confession to make.......I have just become an A.C.E. so will have to 'meet and greet' the newbies in a happy and friendly manner. Please dont throw me out of PUDDING. I promise that when i am not on 'official duties' i will remain the total embodiment of the Pudding ideal - grumpy and proud!
And if you do - well i will throw a strop and sulk big time at the unfairness of it all

Don't worry, Sir Mort, I do understand. Even I have to smile politely occasionally, but I try to keep it to a minimum.

Of course, if you come across any suitably surly newbies, you *could* always mention PUDDING to them...
