So every now and then I take it you find a soggy mess under the sofa - usually by putting your hand into it because you were searching for the remote and didn't look first?

Something like that. He has always been a difficult one when it comes to food. When he was really small and was getting used to 'solids' we thought we were making progress. That was until we found that he was pulling back the padding of his high-chair and spitting it out and hiding it.

Its a good place to find a pen or pencil. My wife hides my pocket money there, then claims it must have come out of my pocket. Hum.
