It's been edited. See A730801
I still think the main site directory (as opposed to any unofficial directories, etc) should contain only edited entries.

I know the Knoeywotsitermajiggy Diamond has now been Edited - I'll add that as a note. Also, why do you think only Edited Entries should be made listed in the official directory? What about Post articles, AGG/GAG, etc.? Surely if the categories are obviously divided as in the proposed layout then there wouldn't be a problem.
Besides which, I'm currently convinced that it would be useful for the Scouts to see non-Edited work ripe for the picking...

True, but if the category editor finds such an entry (and lets be honest: they're rare), sie can submit it to Peer Review easily enough. Or the Flea Market, if it's deficient in some way. Or sie can take a copy hirself and edit it and put it through Peer Review.
About including opinion pieces, humour, fiction, etc... Well, I could be convinced, if you found examples of the sort of stuff you want to have included. Show, don't tell, as they say...

I'll have a little lookie for those pieces.
However, I feel that non-Edited Entries should definitely be listed as I see it because there are often little gems that don't attract Edited potential on their own but that could build up in the categories, and an interested category could work them together as a collaborative Entry with permission - it would make that job far easier.

Fascinating to see That Diamond mentioned here. So how would you categorize an entry on the Mona Lisa - 'Vegetable Products: Oils' perhaps?
Would Trombones come under 'Metal Alloys'?
Books under 'Timber: Pulped'?

Come on - it was only a really bad example. The primary purpose was layout. Although since it's a really good example of an Allotrope of Carbon, it might get a listing here and under the Queen Mother category...

About the non-Edited Entries? I'm convinced myself that it won't affect the purity of the Edited Guide since the two will sit 'seperately together' - clearly distinguished. But it is interesting to hear your concerns.

No, I meant Post 3. But perhaps Lucinda and I could be convinced...
