A Conversation for The Elephant Parade, London - Part II

You have managed to make this sound so interesting and I am wondering if you are going to do the same for the toads? They certainly brighten up the landscape.
The Elephant Parade was an inspired way to raise funds, but the pre-buying seemed a pity to me, as like you I am sure the ellies would have each fetched a lot more than £7,000 at auction.
Thanks for all your effort photographing and writing.

Thanks for your input, Webby. The toads report is being written up as I type, and further instalments of the Ellies are to follow.
The £7.000 purchase price was based on the average that elephants sold for at previous auctions. However this was vastly underpriced considering what the ellies went for in London. At some point I will calculate this and let you know what the 'adjusted' value should be.
Once again, glad you enjoyed it. I am still enjoying it, and have monthly meetings with my new Facebook Ellie friends who have, themselves, just returned from a toad trip in Hull.
Watch for future issues.
