1) A top shooting game. There's something very 'gunny' about the guns and something very 'cannon foddery' about the enemy troops. Cooperative mode. Counter-agent mode (The story-mode levels, but 2nd player gets to be one of the cannon fodder badguys. When he dies, he is teleported into the next nearest baddy). Yummy. A machine-pistol in each hand? Yes please.
2) The moody cyberpunk storyline is utterly ruined with the appearence of the aliens. I tended to start each level by immediately planting a few bullets into Elvis's oversized grey head just to stop his irritating squeaky voice. Why, Rare... why?
3) The TV advert was pretty hot.
4) This is a very big game. I still haven't managed to get through story mode on 'Perfect Agent' difficulty. The different configurations in the combat simulator are endless. (Paintball suitcase game in bullet-time against 5 two-man 'vengence-sim' teams in the Facility level pinched from Goldeneye? Hell yeah!)
5) All the usual Rare in-jokes. Find the slices of cheese in strange locations! etc.
