Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences

Well, I promise I *will* smoke- but only where I'm told to. If anyone catches Mr. KerrAvon breaking the rules (sadly possible as the evering wears on I fear), they have my permission to box his ears!

Will there be a pollen-free area of Hyde Park provided in the afternoon for us hay fever sufferers?

A tent full of Beconase would be helpful.

Unfortunately I would come *very* well prepared because half of the park is left to grow as a hay meadow.

Sorry hay fever sufferers! smiley - cheerup

You could ask some of the smokers to set light to the hay field to burn off the pollen...

Or we could just do a rain dance.

Or you could just go round the museums?

Hi Guys

I just thought I would give you the final details for Saturday!

Come rain or shine we will be meeting at the Band Stand at Hyde Park at 2pm. If it is sunny we will be whacking balls around or lying on the grass according to you mood. If it is raining, we are going to get cultural down in the museums of South Ken.

We are aiming to get to the pub for 6.30 - 7 pm. We are going to the Leicester Arms which is on the corner of Warwick and Glasshouse St (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?G2M?X=529312&Y=180725&A=Y&Z=1)

There will be the usual shenanigans of pub quiz, a few snacks and drink! There will be sandwiches and crisps at the pub in the evening. So either bring a picnic or have a massive lunch!

Now any questions?

Abi

Hi Abi, I see what you mean about free festivals not friendly to those in wheelchairs, and look at the aftermath of the Brighton festival. Its shocking, they say part of the beach maybe people off for years, whilst the glass is ground down!

Shame there arn't many beer gardens, they would help the smoking issue, but only if it didn't rain!

Whether we come depends on bike shops, my motorbike test is on the 28th, so I need to get some new kit. If the shops are open Sunday, then we can come, but if they are only open Saturday, then that had to take preference!

Hey Kaz!

We are starting to plan the winter party already so that we can make sure that we find somewhere suitable and that will probably be non-smoking.

Best of luck with the bike shops - hope that you get your kit. Make sure you storm through your test! smiley - biggrin

Oh and by the way...

I have looked at the weather forecast for tomorrow and it looks like the weather is going to be thundery showers. So remember to bring an umbrella. If it is raining then we will meet at the bandstand and head off to South Ken to visit the museums!

But fingers crossed the BBC weather team have misjudged their seaweed and it will be fine!

Or, instead of museums there's always the option of doing a brewery crawl. Bit better than a pub crawl smiley - winkeyesmiley - cheers
