if I find one sleeping place I might come to the London meet.

I have a request for one sleeping place during the London meet.

You can call me TC

I hope you find somewhere. Try the Youth Hostels, or ask Bossel. I had this problem but my sister offered to put me up.

Try the universities. I stayed in the Great Dover Street appartments a couple of years back and they were very good value for money. I think they belong to Kings' College or perhaps to the London School of Economics. I can't remember now.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

there is
http://www.studios92.com/hotels/index.htm
Which is a kind of thing/site whatsit, that lists budget hotels and B and B etc, in London.
But:
I think someone, (ok me probably) smiley - winkeye should start an "accomidation" thread, so we can see what people are after, consider the benifits of all being under the one roof, see how many people are needing accomidation and maybe even consider group bookings??? smiley - run s off to create thread and get the wheels rolling, rawhide smiley - alienfrownsmiley - biggrin

The Great Dover Street apartments are arranged in groups of ten so, if you have enough people, you could take over a whole flat like we did at Manchester last year.

Pheloxi*, its not really fair to have a go at 2Legs like that.

He was only suggesting that it would be better if all needs for accomodation went into a dedicated accomodation thread. That way you can get a better deal on accomodation and you are all in one place.

It is a great idea 2Legs, we should start an accomodation thread as soon as we start a RSVP thread really. smiley - smiley

pheloxi, are you sure that travelling to London is such a good idea? We would be thrilled to see you here, but it must be a big ordeal for you. Have you got some one who can come with you?
