What do people in Westminster think of the Congestion Charge, considering your council opposed the idea initially in the courts, and then ended up collaborating with Ken. Do you want it to be enlarged to cover your area?

Ya'ateeh Waashindoondee! (Greetings from Washington, D.C.!)

I am a member of the Navajo Nation (Native American from Arizona, New Mexico and Utah)and I've been to London twice and love it. I, of course, want to travel elsewhere in the United Kingdom to see your country as so many of your countrymen have visited our Dinebekeya (Navajo land).

I always thought that London was one large city called London. Little did I know that "London" is made up of smaller villages that have since grown together to make up what we here think of as London. What surprised me was that where Buckingham Palace, or St. James's Palace is today was a very separate place, than say where Whitehall is now. Today, of course, it looks like one place that is walking distance from each other, but I'm sure in King Henry VIII's day, there was "wilderness" between Whitehall Palace and what is now St. James's. Very interesting.

Every time I visit, there is more to learn and appreciate. It's funny that here in the States or in D.C., people are amazed that an old building is dated to 1776 and you have much older and EXISTING buildings that are much older. So from a culture and people who saw the original Americans come to this land, I would hope that Londoners and British peoplescherish and appreciate your culture. We've seen what happens when one does not appreciate one's culture.

Best to all in the UK.

Agoone! (Best wishes!)
