Obviously only one thing to do then. Find B. Baggins and send him up the tree to find a way out. Scare tall lurking shadowy figures with portable flame thrower and hope the smell of burning doesn't bring out every nasty from miles around.
Or better still......start running

Not so fast; for in a cave that happened to find itself in the middle of this particular forrest something is stiring. This thing has ideas. And as the traditional scary mood setting storm starts hurling lightening about the vaults of the sky; and the darkness of the wood becomes even darker help is on the way from this unusual source.

Bare up for as already mentioned 'help' is on the way.
Through the undergrowth this thing with ideas is aproaching, slithering over the gunge that covers the untroden paths in the heart of the wood. Will it get here in time, or are we doomed to be prey to the lurking shadowy thingies or frazled by a stray thunder bolt?

Indeed, the atmospheric whogies are building, time for the fastest exit possible I think!!!
Now where did I park my tardis, if we are lucky it won't have been gorged by mysterious lurking things.

*drops out of a tree*
...
(thud)
Ow. Huh?
What's going on here?
Tallest tree
Odo Posted Apr 24, 2002
* swings round startled*
"I didn't think anyone else had got quite as lost as us!"
More rumbly thundery sounds from gunge covered path. Round the corner blunders a ...... well it's just too horrible to name but it might explain the presnce of the hovering above.
What happens now?

Odo Posted Apr 24, 2002
Several, ranging from 'pathetic' to 'it might work if we cross all our fingers at once and ask very very nicely'.
* grins nervously *
the remains of the tardis have been found, now just a crumpled smoking pile of metal, while overhead in the now purple sky the slowy begins its decent.
"Any suggestions?"

Mystrunner Posted Apr 24, 2002
we could scream and run about wildly?...
(voice from dark) Yessss, Yessss, I think so!
Ummmm....
Tallest tree
Odo Posted Apr 25, 2002
ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
*runs round in paniky circles*
"Well I certainly feel a lot better for that. Can anyone tell me why the sky has now turned orange?"
Tallest tree
Odo Posted Apr 26, 2002
I have just seen a glimpse of what might be daylight along the path on the right so discretion being the better part of valour and all that, I think it's time to
* glances round and sets off at top speed *
see you in the castle some time

*harry hand becomes a harry arm, which becomes a harry... yeti?*
*the yeti quickly grabs an electric fan from Mystrunner's belt, turns it on, sighs as the cool air sweeps over it, and trundles off*
*Mystrunner stares in stunned silence*
You could have just asked!
*turns to Strider*
Thanks. Shall we go?

Evil Zombie Strider Posted Apr 29, 2002
*mourns loss of perfectly good electric fan, but continues in search of an exit from this altogether strange forest.*
