h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

If you'd like to take a look at the unedited version of this, please let me know. Not to say that I am unfond of Shazz's interpretation of my work, it is simply that I feel it is nearly impossible to portray my works as they were written and intended to be read with the language restrictions of the BBC, for example, including usage of exclamation points to make me sound so gosh darn happy when it's really supposed to be a truly insane account of a truly insane time.

Again, I'd like to reiterate that I am and always will be very fond of Shazz and her work, and I believe her adaptation of my writing, although somewhat different from what I had originally written, correlates to the rules and restrictions of the BBC while at the same time maintains a fair amount of the insane voice I had originally intended.

That being said, let me know if you'd like to take a look at the unedited version.

I did have to edit a couple of gratuitous swear words which would have resulted in the item being removed had they stood.
Perhaps next time send it through in text rather than word so that I can see more clearly your phrasing... or pop it into GuideML which would be even better!

Don't worry about it. I usually have more time to follow your use of italics and bold etc, but I am getting more and more pushed to complete The Post on time. I had to convert your Word submission into a Wordpad text file which gets rid of all the annoying extraneous squiggles that Word seems to add but meant that all your embellishments were lost. I'll have to give you a hand with learning GuideML sometime, then you can create all your own work
