Hi Demon!
Congratulations again!
I've made enquiries into getting a badge, but apparently I can't import my own graphics into H2G2 (not that I'd know how to even if I could....!). There are some custom graphics around though, but presumably they need official approval or creation or something.
Do you want to join the academy??

Ooh I suppose if you are going to copy the Oscars all past winners would become members of the Academy, it would make the search a bit easier for you every time you nominate a witicism.
As for the badge talk to Peta, Abi or Linda see if something can be blobed for you.

Oh, absolutely! A prestigious graphic for elite wordsmiths only!
I'd certainly like all previous winners to join the academy, but I think it would be a bit rude of me to just add their names under the membership list without asking first, as they're then implemented in my schemes! I take it you have no objection to joining the academy?
I'll track down an italic to ask about graphics. I think I may have asked the wrong question and possibly in the wrong place last time I asked. If the procrastinators and the lurkers can have a badge, I think the Academy ought to. I'll see what I can do!

I'm just having an interesting conversation with Marjin (the winner of the third award) about how the Academy ought to work. I've suggested that once things are up and running, that there be one or two awards to be distributed each week. I'll post a thread to the Wilde Awards homepage and nominations can be posted there. Votes will be taken on a particular day, and I'll update the page afterwards.
What do you think?

Wy not ask someone in the academy to design one and submit it to the Post Home Space Graphics challenge? If it is suitable you have a badge guaranteed

I'm been communicating with Amy the Ant, community artist extraordinaire, about designing two badges - one for winners and one for members of the academy (Wit-Finder Generals)....
Watch this space. Well, not this space. It'll just turn into a screensaver....
