"How are you today?"
I'm fine, thank you. Although, I have been slightly concerned over a new theory regarding gravity which has recently been brought to the light of the public.
Apparently, there is a group of evangelical physics in the United States, who believe that it isn't gravitational pull that makes objects fall to the ground, after all. It's actually God behind it all. The sneaky bugger. These physics take what has been written in the bible literally. For example, in Job 5:7, it says: "Mankind is born to trouble, as surely as sparks fly upwards." The group behind this thinking have questioned why, if it is gravity which is supposed to pull everything down to Earth, do these sparks fly up to the sky? From this quote, they believe that it must surely be a higher being which causes objects to fall from the air.
While learning about this new way of thinking which stomps over Isaac Newtons scientific theory, I already thought that it was quite a disturbing belief. But then I found that the evangelical physics were attempting to bring this line of thinking into the school curriculum.
So I've been quite troubled about this today.
What do you think?

Yes, you can. Everyone has the right to an opinion.
I don't believe in God either, that's why in my above post I said that I believed that line of thinking was disturbing.

But everyone has the right to an opinion.
Are you saying that people who believe in God should shut up?

No I am saying those particular fanatics should or prove it to us?

Baconlefeets Posted Aug 23, 2005
But that would mean proving the existence of God and asking him whether or not he's been tinkering with apples on peoples heads. How would you suggest they could arrange an interview like that?

Reports show that 87% of Christians also think: "Dunno." While 12% believe that God has actually distributed himself into the evangelical physics, leaving 1% who believe that God is actually a Fox who currently resides in Edinborough.

I'm worried about it because there's already been a redneck who has been elected to take charge of the United States political issues. What if this theory makes it into Kansas's school curriculum and one of the future presidents is from there?

.....Footbacon.
.
.....well if there is such a thing as a God, then everything is controlled by God, good or bad, as to whether there is such a thing as god, I don't really know, or care really, to be honest. So I find it difficult to comment.

You can't not be interested in US politics, it can have some effect on the UK, you know?
Another thing that has been worrying me today is how Michael Buerk thinks that women have taken over the world to steal his sperm.
