Sounds remarkably similar to the first chapter of a book I'm reading at the moment. 
Amazing stuff really though. Beggars belief to be honest.
What sickens me even more is the fact that our PM was the first world leader to phone him up and say "Congratulations Mr President".
Spineless little toad that he is.

I'd be lying if i said that i hadn't read 'Stupid White Men' before I wrote it, let's be honest.
I didn't intend it as a serious piece which is why I didn't do a huge amount of research, but tried to put a different angle on the facts.
Blair appalls me. If the greens don't field a candidate out my way next time outt I don't know how I shall vote, but i can't seriously carry on with the pretence that this government is supportable in any way.

It's pretty disgraceful the way they are selling this country down the pan.
I think a great deal of people are looking for someone else to vote for, and not just in Britain either. (Hence Le Pen, Fortuyn, etc.)
One thing I would like to ask you about actually is about the Civil Service Union (sorry can't remember the name). I'm sure I remember you saying that you are part of the Civil Service, and I was wondering what is going to happen about the chap who was voted out, but who refuses to relinquish his power. I heard that the executive commitee decided the vote for a left-wing head of the union was invalid for some reason.
Do you know what is going on here? Have I got my facts straight, or is it a bit more complicated than that?

Never having been involved in a union, don't really understand it. But I think I've heard about this from a couple of different sources, so it would be great to hear what's going on from the horses mouth - so to speak.
