Don't carry the world on your shoulders; it's a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder.

At the end of a "car-crash" relationship, I was telling my mother of my distress and how I wanted to get revenge.
she told me "The best revenge is living well". at first is just laughed it off and continued my silent loathing of my nasty ex.
God was she right!
I am now happily married (only 3 weeks ago!) and couldn't be happier- my ex is back with his parents again after his last girlfriend kicked him out for the same shameful behaviour...
Thanks mum!

after posting yesterday. I thought I would check up on said ex anyway just to see- so I called a friend who still floats in the same general circle.
His last girlfriends kicked him out because he got his girlfriend before her pregnant! But he denies it's his child!
So maybe he needs some advice on living well- his family are all so fab I can't understand where he gets it from! I actually feel bad for him but then I'm just a big softie!

Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~

before you fight your enemy you must first walk a hundred miles in his moccasins

(that way you will be 100 miles away from him - plus you have his moccasins)

Yes but that means I have to go within 100 miles of him, get his shoes, then walk away from him. I don't want to get that close!!
