Where Did All The Other Discussions Go?

There were four or five different threads concerning this article (including submissions from family of the crew) and they just appear to have been deleted.
For anyone with an interest in this article, the village of Chelveston (the home airfield of Mi Amigo) will be unveiling their monument to the 305th Bombardment Group in springtime 2007.

Hi Jonathan
There still there - here A7563783
That one's the Edited Guide version of Mi Amigo, tidied up by a Sub-Editor and deemed fit for public viewing. The one you've found here is my original draft, as presented to Peer Review for fellow Researchers to criticise.
So you might like to re-post this message at the Edited Guide Entry (that's the one that search engines outside h2g2 will find - including even the Beeb homepage one)
I knew about the new memorial. That's good to hear. I'll visit it myself if the chance arises.
Would you like Robin Tuttle's photo of the crew? If so, howcan I get it to you. Drop it off at the church, maybe?

Hiya,
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've had my work cut out finishing a course.
I certainly would like the Tuttle photo, please! It would form part of the display at future exhibitions and I go down to the cemetery outside of Cambridge a few times a year to pay my respects to all there.
I you plan to be at the memorial service next February (fingers crossed for me this time!) then we could meet up there. Otherwise, is there a method of private emailing on this site? If so, then we could exchange phone numbers.
Cheers, Jonathan

There's no totally private method
The most way discreet method I know is to post e-mail addresses and the like in a journal Entry, because you can delete JEs.
Problem is, if you're seldom on line, the info will hang around a long time.
If you can say a day you'll definitely look in, I'll make sure there's a link here where you can find my e-mail address just on that day.
OK?

But I also plan to be there in February if work-travel permits. Probably 90% odds I'll be there.
