Arrwwww.. Hot babes! ..mmm-mmm.
That is my humble homeric opinion.
So is this:
The one time you finally bring it (your unifed-theory-of-art as a simultaneous-expression-thru-all-available-media - or - "words and pictures", aka:'illustrated text') all together, is the one time the picture needs no explanation. IMHO.
And this:

I've never apologised for seeing two women before and I don't intend to start now.
Now I can see the No.6 and recognise the more masculine qualities of what I took to be one of those androgenous supermodel types. It was the dark haired one that really attracted me .
And in spite of standing-by what I said before, I also admit you are 'write', it does work as a unified whole. I never doubted that it did, I was just happy enough to see a couple of hot babes. That thin curved line on 'his' left shoulder said 'bra strap' to me and the No.6 read as a haut coiture sunsuit on a Muriel Hemingway body until I read the story.

Wonderful. Your three posts reveal a story all of their own. Androgeny is always a possibility; these are two souls whom I happen to have labelled him and her; you've helped them escape their pigeon holes further.
While I agree with you that it is 'the dark haired one' that draws my attention, I can't help but feel slightly hurt because the other one bears some resemblance to me as a babe (baby, that is, as well as the hot stuff which I now indubitably am).
Good luck with your condition; I'll pray for you that they never find a cure.
