I'm a Gemini and an astrologer. I have to say as an astrologer I don't believe in sun sign astrology but then again I am a 4-planet Gemini so in my case I guess my character has a lot of the qualities of this one sign.

I'm a Gemini pig, and also a dog in the Aztec horoscopes. I've tested Chinese horoscopes on people I've never met (e.g. ancestors) and found them surprisingly accurate, but the most accurate thing about the Gemini write-ups I've read is the emotional volubility bit, but I think I've met an Aries and a Pisces who are better at that.
The funny thing about the Aztec horoscopes was having to translate them from the Spanish they were written in. The signs revolve evry twenty days, and you also have a `month' (more like two weeks) which has certain characteristics. I am in the month of salt - so we're supposed to be witty but potentially corrosive . One of my friends was born in the month of the rain, etc etc
If anyone wants me to look up their sign, just send me a message. I think similar information can be found on a web-page about Mayan astrology somewhere.
