Any drummer (a species of which I am grateful not to be a member) can tell you that used drum heads make ideal flying discs. Caution must be used, though, as the metal rim can be uncomfortable when caught with parts of the anatomy not designed for catching. Be especially careful in the presence of "frisbee dogs", as you surely wouldn't want to entice Rover to chip his teeth on it.
