A Conversation for The Citgo sign
I knew exactly what you were talking about

...just from the title.
My younger sister goes to BU. I'm hopeless with Boston geography (although I'm going to have to learn as I'm moving there in a few months), and the only way I can ever even get in her general vicinity by myself is to head toward that sign. It would seem the sign serves a plethora of purposes, not the least of which is providing a beacon for the directionally challenged.

As I remember, the building that supports the Citgo sign houses the BU bookstore, unless it has moved in the last few years.
By the way, Boston was designed to make careful use of the natural hyperspatial wormhole that is a leftover from the Big Bang. Navigating around Boston is, therefore, tricky at best
