A good article for the post. But I am afraid not quite the right thing for the edited guide. I'll explain why:
It's mainly a personal concoction based on very personal views.
Apart from that it's well-written and deals with interesting modern topics, definetly worth reading.
That were my 2p.
(PS: In the Soviet Union the Krushtshov period was a relief from Joe's persecutions, so THERE the man was reckoned as a kind of a reformer. He isn't even buried in the Kremlin, because (a) he didn't die while in power (a feat only accomplished by Gorby decades later) and (b) Brezhnev (who took over after him) thought his ideas were to liberal (sic!) so he was not worthy. The Brezhnev era was a real draw-back to the good old days of Joe (isn't Jeff short for Joseph? Well, anyways. There's a lot room for discussion about whether Krushtshov was really bad, or if Brzhnev was worse etc...

It's too opinionated and often badly-written. You need to tidy it up and perhaps take on board some other researchers to balance the thing out.

Hello Researcher 190755!
I see you're new around here and haven't got round to activating your space yet. You can do this by pressing the 'edit' button on your space and you can change your name by clicking on 'Preferences', so that you get something more personal that just a number. You will then be greeted by an ACE (like me) and shown around this really place.
Don't be put off by comments so far. I think you've made a fair start and once you've started to find your way around the site, you can decide what to do about your entry. Entries in Peer Review are expected to follow certain rules. You can find these in:
Deciding What to Write for the Guide
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/EditedGuide-Guidelines
and you may also find
Using Approved GuideML in the Edited Guide
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/EditedGuide-GuideML
helpful.
Peer Review is to help polish entries and guide authors to producing something which will go in the edited guide. Scouts (like me) then have the job of picking or recommending entries, which will then be worked on by Sub-editors and then given final polishing, before appearing on the Front Page. If the Editor really likes an entry, it will be given a picture (known as a 'blob') and given star billing.
Good luck. If you want help, just click on my name, and leave me a message.

I actually quite liked this entry, it's an interesting viewpoint. Not quite objective or in detail enough for the edited guide, but the kind of unedited entry that makes this site so great!
Key: Complain about this post
