Divorce is a dreadful thing, and I think, especially when we were younger we did things and said things that are very hard to undo, and the longer it goes on for the worse it gets. Been there, done that. It is only now that I have a grandchild that things have come back to me, and I wish I had done some things differently. I do hope you do eventually have contact again. It is such a shame.

At least you have some good memories and a marriage which has brought you much happiness alongside the health problems.

and I hope we are still around to celebrate your 60th here on h2g2.

Aye! thanks for that WS, yea what started off a perfectly amicable divorce, due to the fact that we just drifted apart over the years, ended up really bitter, due to the greed of my ex wife!

There are also a few years of my past missing from my memory, due to the PTSD they say I have?

But as you say, I have happy memories of my second life, and hope to continue doing so

I have seen on those TV programs, families get back in touch after many years, but I dont think that will happen to me?
