its been removed again, and i got warned id be removed from H2G2
So iv given up hope in this entry,
Damm I was a great Poster putter upper too, probably one of the best, ah well I have the memories, and the fact that I annoyed so many people at once was great,
I also didnt tell youz about the chat up feature of putting up posters.
Ah well.

That's a shame

That's a shame and seems a bit over the top as it is perfectly possible to legally put up a poster outside. Many councils offer free board space to local cultural events in an attempt to cut down on illegal fly posting.

Still - if they're threatening you with dire retribution I guess it's not worth pushing it. Just out of interest, did they say that the subject was completely out of order or just that yours is too linked to fly posting?

Well, since they've told you that you can't have this one, would you be so kind as to remove it from Peer Review using either the button on the Entry itself or the little cross next to the Entry on the PeerReview page.

Surely there are legal ways to put up a poster. Like step one, get a licence then blah blah blah...

As Lord Smooth has been threatened with decapitation if he produces another version, there's not a lot he can do about this. It's a shame because it's an excellent article.

Without some sort of guidance from the italics on how to make this legal, it's difficult to know where to go with it.

I propose a move back to the Entry. Sorry, but it doesn't look like it's going to have much Review Forum success at the present time.

If it were me, then I would graciously withdraw the entry from Peer Review, and then delete it.

Now what I wouldn't tell anyone was that I had saved the text from the now deleted entry, which I might recycle into new entry called, say, "How to put up a poster". If such an event occured, I would then *never* submit the new version to any review forum.

But as I said, that's just me...

Mmm. I think it's a valid topic for the EG if it can be written in a way that doesn't condone illegal activity. Lord Smooth, I'd be happy to write something up by email correspondence, to avoid any problems, then to bring it on site once I'm fairly sure we're safe. Let me know here if you want to do that.

It's this incarnation of the Entry, and not the whole topic, that needs to be moved.

I didnt even know this page still exsisted, till I got a message about it today. As said earlier there is no way to make this a leagl entry (i Think) as it is illegal to do, but some cities have designated places to put them up, but thats not what we did. I wanted to let people know how these big posters where put up, and that I had a geg/ many fights with my girl at the time over doing it. but yeah if you send me an email I will forwrard the entry, if i can find it.
