I'm Semiquaver, and I am a Mildly Bemused Force of Randomness. I have a Total Lack of Self-Preservation, and I am also known as "Hmm?", for some very good reasons indeed.
For some not-so-good reasons, I am also Pentameter, Facilitator and Distributor of Poetry, Short Stories, Essays, and other Forms of Cruel and Unusual Punishment (No, nothing shifty is happening. I'm legit--I just needed a second space after I founded the Poetry, Short Story, and Essay Project on Pentameter's Space, so I started Semiquaver's). I list myself as "Pentameter/Semiquaver" on h2g2, even though Semiquaver is my typical off-line nom-de-plume. Pentameter handles the writing, Semiquaver handles the music, and both handle the humor.
If you want to list me as two people, then great. Do so. They really are fairly different anyway. I'm just speaking for Pentameter, here.
I want to join the UFH2G2 because I want to bring the UF number up to 300. Moreover, I like the spirit of the UF--it's really a microcosm of h2g2 in general, and it's got pastels, so that's okay.
Way to go, guys!
