Pheloxi,
On most of the site there are no problems with skins. Even if someone uses one explicitly, the sensible users will just change it in the url and go on.
On threads like this, where you not only acknowledge the difference, but also point to the existing "war", you only attract the ones that like to fight about it.
So what did you expect to happen here? Peace will kill the thread, as there is nothing more to say about it then.
