A U-number is a member's identity number. Yours is U8091461 and when written out like that in a posting it becomes a link to your homepage in the same way your user name at the top of any posting is a link.
Sadly, my online time these days is quite limited and I must refer you to the good folks at the h2g2 Underguide who have taken up the mantle of subversive creative writing here-abouts.
